The last date for registration has passed.

The Kensington Living History Village is a rustic site Built and Maintained by Chief Pontiac Programs Committee, an Education Non-Profit organization (501.C.3).  The village is used for Teaching of Blacksmithing, Woodworking, Textile arts, life skills and Cooking in an Early American setting.  It is within the Kensington Metropark, a Park pass will be required for entry into the park ($10 one time, or $35 Annual) at the Park Gate.

Camping in Period Tents is allowed at the village for events.  Modern Tents, if required, will have a separate area.

Porta-Johns will be available at the village, and Modern Restrooms a short walk to the Farm Center.

Overnight Parking passes will be issued to Participants that are camping (no additional charge).

No Vehicles are allowed on the Service roads between the Farm Center and the Living History Village between 12p and 4p. There are Horse and tractor drawn Hayrides with Park guests on the roads at those times. Parking will be at the Farm Center, with limited parking at the village for those with larger equipment, or Disabilities/difficulty walking.

Site Fees will be Cash or check at the event.

The Village is located down the hill from the Farm Center.

The Event will run through the weekend, feel free to participate Both days or either Saturday or Sunday.  

We have limited space in some of the areas, please indicate where you would like to participate while registering so we can ensure there is enough space each day.
