Snow snakes are a fun wintertime outdoor activity following a Native American tradition. A Snow Snake starts with a one inch diameter dowel that is 3 feet long with steel weighted added for speed.  You may then carve and varnish the stick and prepare for racing down a snow-packed run.

Our Snow Snake kits are partially shaped wooden dowels, easy to finish using basic hand tools. The dowel is pre drilled for adding two round steel weights (included).  This is a 'Sand and Paint' Kit that includes the weights, and one sheet of coarse and fine grit sand paper.  The sand and Paint kit is $10.00/snake.  See the instructional video here 'CPT Events & Training (chiefpontiacprograms.org)'

We also offer a  Basic Kit for $8.00/snake, and includes the weights.
